YOGA ALLIANCE 300 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING
The focus of this program is to enhance your teaching skills and broaden your ability to teach a wide variety of students. This program of study will allow you to provide yoga to each individual who attends your classes, private or group, in a way which progress their health and well being.

Above all, Yoga is Awareness. It is a path for improvement. Through this program:
You will learn how to improve the functional ability of your students.
You will be challenged to further develop your own awareness and find the wisdom of BEing fully in your self.
You will SEE how individuals compensate and operate in patterns of safety and comfort.
You will learn to CHOOSE stimuli (mantra, asana, mudra, meditation) to help your students progress.
You will be well prepared to step into further education in our Art of Healing Therapeutic Yoga Certification program.
Philosophy: Learn the practical application of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, The Bhagavad Gita, Ayurveda, Yamas and Niyamas, Yoga Ethics, Sanskrit, the Chakras and the Koshas.
Yoga Techniques: Learn to use movement, mantra, mudra and meditation as specific tools for progress.
Anatomy: Learn anatomy as applied to yogic practices.
Teaching Methodology: The course will cover class organization, teaching professionalism, business practices, teachings styles, qualities of students. You will have daily opportunities for practical application.
The vision of our program takes teachers with basic 200-hour level training and develop their confidence to trust their own wisdom and make choices that will help to move their students forward. By increasing your depth of knowledge through advanced yoga practices and teachings you will learn the skills to better support your students.
Our 300-hour training is module based allowing you to work at your own pace so that you may integrate the teachings in a way that supports your growth as a student. You will have 10 months to complete all the modules after which you will be eligible to register as an RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance. If you wish to continue on to obtain your Therapeutic Yoga Certification you will carry onto the Art of Healing Therapeutic Yoga Certification the following year.
Applicants to the 300 Hour Program require:
Completion of a 200 hour Yoga Teacher training program
$500 (plus GST) deposit
Completion of the registration form
A signed student enrolment agreement
Current Emergency First Aid and CPR
$4895 + GST *Payment Plans available
$500 due upon acceptance into the program
If completing the program in 2 years, please be aware that the monthly fee may be subject to increase.
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Students must fill out and submit an application form, including a $1200 non-refundable registration fee. Upon acceptance the fee will be applied to the program tuition.
Upon certification, you will be eligible to contact Yoga Alliance and register as an RYT 500.
